First Post!

Bonjour to you, the reader, who I most certainly already know and probably hold a strong fondness for. Thanks for being my friend. 

I hope “Chocolate and Ribbons” can be a space for you to enjoy and  share in my adventures in life. It will consist mostly of pictures but also a few sprinkling of words.

I love chocolate (as well as vanilla and strawberry and most other flavors, ha!) and I love ribbons (as you probably know) so I felt the title suited me well.

I also really love poppies so here's a picture of some I saw back in April while backpacking the Lost Coast
